Complementary
Phone Consultation
After you have submitted your electronic inquiry form, a brief 15-minute phone consultation will be scheduled with our SLP. This consultation is used to determine if our services will be a good fit for your family. This consultation allows each family to share their concerns regarding their child’s communication abilities and to ask questions prior to the initiation of therapy.

Comprehensive Evaluations
The therapy process begins with an initial evaluation. Evaluations are a way for our SLP to get the “whole picture” of your child’s abilities. The results of the evaluation will be used to craft a personalized Plan of Care based on your child’s specific needs.
Annual evaluations are recommended to track your child’s growth throughout the therapy process.
Treatment Sessions
Once an initial evaluation is completed, your child will begin evidence-based treatment to remediate communication challenges. Our treatment sessions are typically 45-minutes with the last 10-minutes of the session being reserved for our mandatory caregiver consultation. During the therapy sessions, your child will participate in language rich activities that address each of their personalized goals.
Each family is involved in goal-planning and treatment to help maximize the carryover of skills taught in therapy into the home environment.
We are happy to offer both in-person sessions and sessions delivered via telehealth (speech therapy over the computer.)
Parent Coaching
Children learn valuable communication skills from their caregivers. There is a vast amount of research that suggests children with communication disorders whose caregiver receive parent coaching make faster gains in skills than those children whose parents don’t. If a child is receiving individual or group therapy, the family is encouraged to consider a parent coaching session. During the session, the family will meet with our SLP to discuss and learn strategies to implement at home to help their child build his/her communication skills outside of therapy. Research supports parents participating in a parent coaching session once per month to see the most gains out of their child’s therapy. Our parent coaching sessions are typically 30-minutes long and are private pay only.
