What are the payment procedures?

We accept Maryland Medicaid, Priority Partners, Amerigroup, UHC, and BCBS. We also provide private pay rates. We will provide each family who is private pay with a superbill that they can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment forms include credit/debit cards and HSA cards. Each family will enroll in our AutoPay system for convenient payment transactions. Children’s Speech and Language Center, L.L.C. cannot guarantee reimbursement for any therapy session. It is up to each family to follow through with their own personal insurance company.

 

Prices will vary based on the service being provided.

Where will the therapy sessions take place?

The initial consultation will be on the phone and the therapy sessions will be conducted either at the office or via telehealth (therapy over the computer) in the comfort of each families’ home.

 

We are happy to provide in-person sessions, telehealth sessions, and hybrid sessions (a mix between in-person and telehealth.) Telehealth sessions are a great option during inclement weather and when a family needs a last-minute schedule change.

How long are the treatment sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are between 45 and 60-minutes.

 

Social Group sessions are 60-minutes.

 

Parent Coaching Sessions are approximately  30-minutes.

How do I know if my child needs services?

If you are wondering whether or not your child would benefit from speech and language therapy, seek out an evaluation. If a speech and language evaluation shows there is no communication deficit, our SLP will provide you with recommendations to help families seek out the appropriate professional if concerns still remain.
